The plot twists at a moment when the intelligence comes to know that one member of their team is betraying them and is a part of the Wasp Network.  

Loving Pablo

Virginia was impressed by his aura and charisma when they met at the party. And subsequently started a love affair with him, despite knowing the fact that he was married to María Victoria and had two children.

The film isn’t just about crime, love, and drugs. But it revolves around power, ambition, and survival. It’s a battle between good and bad, depicting how law enforcement agencies like the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and cartels got locked into a morally complex war. 

La Bamba

  • Synopsis:  La Bamba is a biography-based movie on the famous Mexican-American pop star Richard Steven Valenzuela. 

La Bamba is a biographical movie that depicts the story of Ritchie Valens, a young Mexican-American rock star who grew up in Pacoima, California.

The film depicts his journey from the beginning in a middle-class family that manifests into becoming a music icon of the 1950s. With the support of his elder brother, Bob, and his girlfriend, Ritchie encounters several challenges of cultural identity, fame, and the hard work of being a famous artist.

 Because of his famous song “La Bamba,” the movie shows Spanish heritage and the impact of Ritchie’s career on American music history. 

La Bamba is an inspirational story that tells the importance of family, manifesting, and staying committed to your dreams, making it a perfect movie for your weekend. 

McFarland

  • Synopsis: After losing his football coaching job, Jim White notices the running skills of some of his students and makes a cross-country team.

In 1987, Jim White, a school teacher and football coach, was fired from one job after another. After lots of struggles and prayers done by him and his family, White finally gets a job at a predominantly Latino high school. He helps the students in making a cross-country team.

 The teens’ physical prowess drove them to succeed in the game as well as strengthen their family relations. Their work ethic and commitment to their game all played a key role in forging these runners into champions.

The movie is not only about race, it’s about hard work and the struggle of young athletes to unlock their potential, and it depicts the importance of family support.

A Million Miles Away

  • Synopsis: The film revolves around the life of José Hernández, a Mexican-American who was a farmworker before opting for a career as an engineer and astronaut.

 The bio-picture highlights his journey, showing his determination to overcome the challenges of his harsh beginnings to become the version of himself.

With not enough support from his family, José tackles obstacles to fulfill his dream of reaching above the clouds.
